Cross-vendor training courses on Big Data and Apache Hadoop
Fast Lane launches the Cloudera training programme
Hamburg/Berlin, 1 July 2013 – As an addition to the official training courses provided by the manufacturers Cisco, NetApp and VMware, IT training specialist Fast Lane has launched a training programme of Cloudera courses on the subject of Big Data. Most of the training focuses on the use of the free, Java-based Apache Hadoop framework for scalable software operating in distributed environments. The core training course in the programme is the “Cloudera Developer Training for Apache Hadoop” (CDTAH) course. This is intended for developers wishing to create, manage and/or optimise tasks using Apache Hadoop.
During the four-day CDTAH course, the Fast Lane trainers provide essential knowledge about creating robust data processing applications using Apache Hadoop. Among other things, the participants work with MapReduce and the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) in theoretical and practical sessions. The course also includes best-practice considerations for the development of Hadoop, debugging techniques and the implementation of workflows and commonly used algorithms. Last but not least, the participants look at the optimal hardware configuration and network configurations for the development, management and monitoring of a dedicated Hadoop cluster. Furthermore, those who complete the course receive a voucher for the "Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop" (CCDH) exam.
Upcoming course dates:
- Munich 27/08/ - 30/08/2013
- Berlin 15/10/ - 18/10/2013
Price: € 2.495 (plus VAT)
