Training network expands in South America
Fast Lane opens a new training centre in Chile and appoints Edmundo Órdones as new Country Manager
09th March 2012 – Fast Lane, an IT training specialist and provider of consulting services, has expanded its training and education network in South America with the opening of a new training centre in Chile – thereby now offering authorised Cisco, NetApp und VMware training courses on a regular basis in Santiago de Chile. The management of this branch, as well as coordination of other business activities in the region, will be carried out by the newly appointed Country Manager, Edmundo Órdones.
With a Degree in Computer Science and Informatics at the Universidad Católica del Norte and Mining Management & Administration at the Universidad de Atacama, Órdones has a vast experience of 35 years in the performance of executive offices and professionals in the field of IT. Different positions in the companies he has worked at, gave him experience in different lines of businesses such as Banks, Telecommunications, Mining, Industry, Retail and Government. The main executive positions that he performed were: Commercial Director of the Southern Cone (Chile, Argentina and Uruguay) in the company Unisys Corporation for 19 years, Commercial Manager of Grupo Empresas GSUR Ltda., Commercial Manager in the company K y S Soluciones and Account Manager & Technology Manager in the company Olympia Chile Ltda.
