New training at Fast Lane: Using Cisco Nexus 1000V switches in VMware vSphere environments
12th October 2009 – Fast Lane has added the ‘Install, Config & Manage vSphere 4 on Nexus 1000V Data Centre Networks (ICMNDC)’ course to its training portfolio. This five-day, multi-vendor training course provides information about the key features of the Nexus 1000V product family as well as the associated protocols that are supported by it. In addition, the installation, configuration and management of VMware vSphere are also integral parts of the course.
Participants receive detailed knowledge about the Cisco Nexus 1000V product range and its use in VMware vSphere environments. The virtual switches operate within the VMware ESX Hypervisor and provide support for Cisco VN-Link server virtualisation technology. Practical exercises in dedicated laboratories supplement the theoretical lectures provided. An overview of the course content:
