Cisco introducing the new CCNP certification

In January 2010 Cisco introduced the revised CCNP certification. There are now three courses available. The !ROUTE, !SWITCH and !TSHOOT courses have replaced the BSCI, BCMSN, ISCW and ONT courses.

CCNP Mix & Match Part 1

Cisco Certification Pyramid

Passing scores on 642-901 BSCI, 642-812 BCMSN and 642-892 Composite will be accepted as long as they are valid.

CCNP = BCSI + BCMSN + TSHOOT
CCNP = Composite + TSHOOT
CCNP = BSCI + SWITCH + TSHOOT
CCNP = ROUTE + BCMSN + TSHOOT
CCNP = ROUTE + SWITCH + TSHOOT


CCNP Mix & Match Part 2

ROUTE and SWITCH will replace existing exams in other certifications where BSCI, BCMSN and Composite scores also remain valid.

CCDP = BSCI + BCMSN + ARCH
CCDP = Composite + ARCH
CCDP = BSCI + SWITCH + ARCH
CCDP = ROUTE + BCMSN + ARCH
CCDP = ROUTE + SWITCH + ARCH
CCIP = BSCI + QOS + MPLS + BGP
CCIP = Composite + QOS + MPLS + BGP
CCIP = ROUTE + QOS + MPLS + BGP
